Unidentified materials have triggered early Sunday afternoon an explosion in a small warehouse located in the area of plant 3 of the arm producing "Arsenal` company in the Bulgarian town of Kazanlak.

The Chief of the local "Civil Defense" service Hristo Neshev has confirmed before Darik radio that the fire has been extinguished.

The "Civil Defense" teams have already left the plant, but local fire fighters and the company`s own fire fighters remain inside.

"The situation is under control. There are no destructions, no injured and no fatalities," according to Vladislav Prelezov, spokesperson of the Ministry for Emergency Situations and Disasters.
